MS Support and Therapy Group
We are a small group of men and women from all backgrounds who have Multiple Sclerosis in various stages. We are based in Farnborough, Hants. UK. The group was formed several years ago after the liquidation of another organisation called ARMS. We continue to meet regularly, giving a great deal of support and laughter to one another. Hampshire Coalition of Disabled People (HCODP)
We promote the active participation of Disabled People in securing the necessary facilities and support to ensure maximum choice through full inclusion into all aspects of society. This is centred around the impairment and disability distinction and the idea of disability being socially created, we maintain that Disabled People are not a 'problem' - rather that the 'problem' is the way society is organised.
